BALTIMORE COUNTY FREEZING WEATHER SHELTERS
There are two Baltimore County Freezing Weather Shelter locations for the 2024 — 2025 activation period:
⭐ 1) Eastern Family Resource Center
9150 Franklin Square Drive, Rosedale, MD 21237
⭐ 2) Community Health Center
1811 Woodlawn Drive, Woodlawn, MD 21207
(shelter entrance located on the left side, underneath the library)
The shelters are activated November 15, 2024 — April 15, 2025 when the temperature forecast calls for freezing weather. Homeless residents may call our Referral and Screening line at 410-887-TIME(8463), option 1, to confirm activation and bed capacity at anytime.
The shelters open at 6 p.m. when activated and close at 9 a.m. the next morning. Additionally, daytime activation may occur during severe weather conditions.
